Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

My answer would probably be Vampire Academy. I mean, there are so many things they could screw up. Finding the right Rose, Dimitri, Adrian, or Christian would be hard work. And getting the setting and action scenes right. It makes me really nervous, but in a jittery-excited-wanna scream kinda way.

Happy Friday!!!

I chose VA too. I would love to see them as movies; I just hope that they get the connection between Rose and Dimitri right.

I also hope that they include the little details - like when Dimitri buys Rose lip gloss. *sigh* It was only a little scene but it showed how much Dimitri cared about Rose.

I couldn't imagine those books as a movie series - fun books not a great movie. :) Great choice!

Happy Follow Friday!

Heh, I haven't read this series, so I can't say anything about it. But I do agree that most books have really intricate schemes and characters and sometimes the actors/movie directors don't really know how to represent them in film.

Hi, VA would definitely be tricky to make into a movie.

Hopping through. I think VA could be a very good movie or it could be a very bad movie. I would hope it would be good.
